&lt;p&gt;On a brighter note, my diet&amp;#8217;s been going very well.  I&amp;#8217;ve absolutely been eating less than 2000 calories per day (probably closer to 1500 on most days).  There have been a few exceptions (dates with Jenny, etc&amp;#8230;) but, for the most part, I&amp;#8217;ve been doing pretty well.  Zach and I came up with a new rule.  One morning per weekend we&amp;#8217;re allowed to have McDonald&amp;#8217;s Breakfast.  I definitely won&amp;#8217;t be eating a Big Breakfast anymore, but I&amp;#8217;m excited about it!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;UPDATE: I went out expecting to just walk a mile at a somewhat brisk pace.  By the time I’d finished the mile, I had talked myself into running at least a half-mile at a relatively fast pace (for me).  I ended up running a half-mile with an average pace of 9:51.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My time today was 11:55.  I’m not really sure if RunKeeper is very accurate because I definitely feel like I ran harder/faster today.  Who knows.  I was pretty discouraged when I saw that my time was worse (by 2 seconds) today.  After thinking about it however, this is only the second time I’ve ever run a mile.  Improvement will come.  My body just needs to adjust haha.  Shins are a bit sore after the run (didn’t hurt while running though).  That means tomorrow is definitely an off day.  =(&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strike&gt;Run a mile without stopping&lt;/strike&gt; (Time: 11:53)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Run two miles without stopping&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Run in and complete a 5K&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Run 10 miles in a week (Monday - Sunday)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Run four miles without stopping&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Run five miles without stopping&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;UPDATE: Had to stretch, towel off a bit, and grab a water.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My time was 11:37.  Definitely tons of room for improvement but this is the first time that I can say, without a doubt, that I ran an entire mile without stopping once (for anything).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;MILESTONE 1: COMPLETED  (I’ll post my list of “Milestones” after sleep)&lt;/p&gt;
